Fall Drinks: Blueberry Cinnamon Whiskey Cocktail Recipe

We are determined to make everyone a whiskey fan and this recipe is one step in the right direction. Mash great tasting blueberries with homemade cinnamon simple syrup, and then combine that with a heck-of-a-good whiskey and you’ve got yourself one fine drink. If you don’t usually drink whiskey, we dare you to try this. It’s a drink with one foot in your comfort zone and one foot out. Chances are, you’ll like it.


Blueberry Cinnamon Whiskey Cocktail
1.5 ounces American whiskey
1 tablespoon cinnamon simple syrup
½ cup organic blueberries

To make the cinnamon simple syrup…
Combine 1 cup of water with 1 cup of sugar and 3 sticks of cinnamon. Bring the mixture to a boil and stir periodically. After about ten minutes, reduce the flame to low and simmer for another 10 minutes. Strain the mixture into a measuring pitcher and allow it to cool before using in the cocktail.
