JORDAN AND JOCELYN are sisters who collaborated on their books “Cocktails for Cougars & Cowgirls: Simple and delicious Drinks for Every Woman,” “This Girl Minds Her Ps & Qs: An Etiquette Handbook for Dinner Parties, Restaurants, and Bars,” and “This Girl Walks Into a Bar: A Women’s Guide to Professional Bartending and Home Mixology.”
The two are busy developing other product offerings, including, apparel, paper goods, barware, and a few surprises. With Jordan’s writing and bartending chops, and Jocelyn’s graphic design expertise, the two make one fabulous team.
Jordan Catapano, author of This Girl Walks Into a Bar: A Women’s Guide to Professional Bartending and Home Mixology, has had long experience as a professional bartender and mixologist. She blogs daily for ThisGirlWalksIntoABar.com and regularly creates cocktails and content for a variety of clients. She has contributed her cocktail expertise to several online sites including Self Magazine, PBS Food, The Huffington Post, Saveur Magazine, The Sacramento Bee, and The Bellingham Herald, and developed cocktail recipes and content for companies such as Bolthouse Farms, BevMo!, Dole Foods, eHarmony, Tabasco, Gallo Wine, Patrón Tequila, Dry Soda, RumChata, Thermador, and Caesarstone. She and her sister Jocelyn Dunn Muhlbach, who is also her business partner, are currently putting the final touches on their next book, Cocktails for Cougars and Cowgirls. Jordan lives in Los Angeles with her husband and children.
Jocelyn Dunn Muhlbach, the graphic designer behind This Girl Walks Into A Bar, created and maintains the company’s brand image and produces all artwork for their website, books, and product line. Her background includes work for a wide array of clientele, including Disney, University of California Los Angeles, University of Southern California, Cal Poly, BevMo!, Westfield, Princess Cruises, Anne Taintor, E!, Sony Pictures, Pottery Barn, Dreamworks, and Mattel. She lives in Los Angeles with her family.
