Festive Drinks for the Holidays

You may be baking lots of cookies this holiday season but that doesn't mean you have to make cookie cutter drinks. Search around for those creative cocktails out there and surprise your friends with recipes they may never have seen or tasted before. Here are two cocktails we created for you to stir things up at your next soiree.

Rosemary Martini 3 ounces vodka 1  tablespoon rosemary simple syrup Squeeze of one lemon wedge Rosemary twig for garnish

Mix the ingredients well with a whisk to dissolve the syrup. Then add ice, shake hard, and strain into a martini glass.

White Chocolate Mint Cocktail 1 ounce creme de menthe 2 ounces white chocolate liqueur 1 ounce vodka (optional)

Mix the ingredients together and serve up or on the rocks. Add vodka to the mix if the liqueurs alone taste too heavy.

For the green and red trim, dot the rim of the glass with a small amount of mint simple syrup, then roll the edge in red sugar. Dot the remaining spaces of the rim with simple syrup and dust it in green.
