If you'd like to serve a cocktail out of a coconut, it's easier than you may think! Most coconuts come with a blade line around the center of the fruit, almost like an equator. If you smash along that line, the coconut will usually break into a even two halves.
I would however, recommend buying more coconuts than you need, as it will take a few tries to get it right. You can also drill a hole in the top of the coconut and shave off the bottom for individual coconut cocktail containers.
