We've been introduced to a simple syrup company called Royal Rose that was founded in 2010 and we're thrilled with the product. As you know, we usually make our batches of simple syrups on Sunday afternoons so that we have them chilled and ready all week. But we kinda have to for our job. You on the other hand, can skip the shopping, the pots and pans, and the cooking and go straight to a legitimately small-batch, hand-made product. Just like something you'd make at home, these syrups have zero chemical preservatives, no added colors, and never any added flavors.
Using Royal Rose's "Rose" simple syrup, we made the drink pictured above. Here's the recipe...
Royal Cinnamon Rose Cocktail 3 ounces vodka 1 ounce Royal Rose Simple Syrup ½ ounce freshly squeezed organic lemon juice 2 dashes cinnamon
To prove that we love these little syrup bottles, we're giving away a 2 ounce sample a day. Just leave a comment to tell us which of the 7 syrups in the photo below you'd like to try, and what spirit you'd mix it with. Then on Friday, July 26th, we'll randomly pick out 7 lucky winners to send one sample bottle to. You may just discover your inner-mixologist.
