Mixology 101: How to Make the BEST Limeade

We've been using homemade limeade in a lot of recipes recently and just made a dozen more drinks with the delicious zesty mixture. Here's the recipe for the best limeade which is totally easy because it's the lime version of lemonade! Fresh limes

Step 1: Wash 8 limes (each lime produces about an ounce of lime juice, and we'll make a cup here).

Step 2: Cut all the limes in half and squeeze them into a pitcher or large measuring cup.

Step 3: Add a proportionate amount of sugar and water. If you have a cup of lime juice, add a cup of water and a cup of sugar. If you squeezed enough limes to get 16 ounces of lime juice, add 16 ounces of sugar and also of water.

Step 4: Label it and put the date on it, then store it in your fridge for about 10 days. Then search "limeade" on our blog and find dozens of delicious recipes that call for this fresh and easy ingredient.
