Cacacha Lemongrass Cocktail

Ingredients 2 ounces cacacha 3 ounces pineapple juice ¾ ounce banana schnapps ½ ounce lime juice ¼  teaspoon ginger juice 1 stalk lemongrass

Directions Peel two to three outer layers of lemongrass leaves away and toss. Cut the stalk into three or four pieces and add to a shaker or measuring pitcher. Add the cachaca and muddle until the lemon grass begins to break apart. To collect the lemongrass pieces, strain the cachaca into a martini shaker. Peel the ginger piece and thinly slice. Use a garlic press to collect the ginger juice and add it to the cachaca.

Add the pineapple juice and banana schnapps, then fill the shaker with ice. Shake to mix and chill, and strain into your glass. Garnish with lemongrass and ginger.
