With the help of our friends and family, we packed dozens of press kits to ship off to magazine and newspaper offices in Los Angeles, New York, and all the cities that we'll be visiting on our book tour. It definitely took a team effort so thank you Brooke, Niki, Julie, Natalie and Sunny for helping us get these finished! We assembled boxes, bundles straws, trimmed ribbon, finalized press announcements, wrote personalized notes, packed it all together, and got them all out the door and to the post office in time to meet our deadline. The official launch of the book is October 1st, but we'll really kick off the campaign September 1st with the announcement of our book signing locations, dates, and times. We are VERY excited and hope that we get a chance to meet many of you in person. Next month we'll also be offering the option to preorder a copy of the book to make sure you get yours before they sell out (the power of positive thinking, people!).
We still have a lot to do. We're hosting influencer dinners at a special restaurant in each of the cities we're visiting, lining up morning show appearances, collaborating with amazing bloggers, hustling for features in prime media (some AWESOME ones already came through), and doing everything else two gals can think of.
But it's so fun. Totally overusing the work so in this blog post. But it's fun because people are nice and supportive and enthusiastic and that feels good after you've really worked your tail off on something.
