Mocktails for Dryuary: January 4th

Last night I tucked in with a cup of peppermint tea and turned on my recording of the Rachel Maddow show, ready to unwind (as if watching a political show can be relaxing these days). Since it's still winter break around our house, this activity started at 11:00 PM...there's no official bed time on vacation. I enjoy a having some "me time" (hate that term - can we come up with something better ?) before calling it a night and hitting the ground running in the morning. This mocktail omits the bubbles for a lovely cocktail-ish drink served up. It's REALLY good so consider making a big batch to last you through the weekend.

Winter Chilled 2 ounces cranberry juice 3.5 ounces freshly squeezed tangerine juice ½ ounce Torani vanilla syrup Dusting of cinnamon Tangerine garnish

Directions Combine all the ingredients in a martini shaker filled with ice. Shake well to mix. Strain into the glass of your choice, garnish with a slice of tangerine, and serve.
