Do you require a deposit?

Fifty percent (50%) of the estimated contract cost of is due at the time of booking,
to be deducted from the total Final Payment, unless other prior arrangements have been made.

can this girl provide rentals?

TGWIAB loves to provide rentals! Visit our services page to see our bar rental selection. Please note that any loss or damage to any rentals will be billed to CLIENT after the event.

when will equipment and rentals be picked up?

Prior arrangements will be made between TGWIAB and CLIENT for equipment/supplies/rental pick-ups on the day following the event. 

what PAYMENT METHODs do you accept?

We accept payment via credit card, check, cash, Venmo, and Zelle. Credit card payments will be subject to a service charge of three percent (3.5%) per the amount of transaction.

when is the final payment due?

Final payment will be due within fifteen (15) days of invoice. If payment is not received within five (5) days of the due date, This Girl Walks Into A Bar will not proceed with any new work, and a five percent (5%) late fee will apply for every week the payment is past due.

do you accept gratuity?

At the CLIENT’s discretion, cash gratuity can go directly to the service staff. If gratuity is included with final payment, the tip is passed along to the bartender(s).

what if our guest count increases?

No problem! We prefer to have an idea around five (5) days prior to the event date. We recommend a 50:1 guest to bartender ratio for the best possible service.

what if we want the bartenders to stay longer than planned?

Many of our events end up going a little longer than originally planned. Once you’ve met the four-hour minimum we bill on the quarter hour. The bartender will always check in with you towards the end of the event to make sure the planned end time is still accurate.

are costs subject to change?

There is usually minimal variation between your final estimate and your final invoice. Hourly bartending rates are subject to change due to overtime and holiday hours.

what happens if there's a change of venue or event date?

TGWIAB will apply the entire balance of CLIENT’s deposits and prepayments (less $100.00 administrative fee), towards another event, subject to TGWIAB’s availability. Persishable items that have already been purchased will be charged to CLIENT. All costs are subject to change.

what if we have to cancel?

All deposits are returned (less $100.00 administrative fee and any reimburseable expenses) if the event is cancelled by CLIENT, the venue, or by an event of emergency, 10 days or more, from the event date. 

If the event is canceled between seven (7) and twelve (12) days from the event date, all deposits are returned (less fifteen percent (15%) of the deposit amount and any reimbursable expenses). 

If the event is canceled between one (1) and six (6) days from the event date, all deposits are forfeited in full, and reimbursements are due.

What if This Girl Walks Into A Bar Cancels?

TGWIAB reserves the right to terminate this contract for any valid reason. If TGWIAB terminates this contract prior to the event date, all deposits and prepayments will be returned in full within seven (7) days.

What is This Girl Walks Into A Bar's Insurance?

TGWIAB maintains Commercial General Liability, Liquor Liability Insurance, and Worker’s Comp Insurance. Additional insurance and permits are available upon request.

what if damage occurs to equipment or property?

TGWIAB assumes no responsibility for ANY damage or loss of merchandise, alcohol, equipment, furniture, clothing or other valuables prior to, during or after the event. TGWIAB will do everything possible to ensure that all of CLIENT’s supplies, rentals and equipment are cared for and maintained in good working order and without damage. When providing the location for the event/function, the CLIENT, understands that accidents/breakage and/or damage may sometimes occur. TGWIAB will not be liable for any damage or loss, unless specifically caused by the willful negligent actions or conduct of TGB or its employees.

do you take custom requests?

Yes! We create custom cocktails tailored to meet the needs of your event. We've also had requests that our bartenders wear a specific costume. Depending on what it is, we will consider it! Any other requests you may have, just send us a note!
